Yes of course it is possible.

You will need 3 things to accomplish the full conversion on your GS300 from halogen to HID/Xenon.

You need the hid bulbs, Ballast and igniter.

The lexus electronics combines the ballast and igniter.

Aftermarket kits separte the 3.

We sell the full conversion kit for $425. 8k blueish white color.

Steve,

What is the estimated install time on this? Also, anything brighter that 8K? What is stock K on a GS4?

Well then 8K seems to be sufficient enough then, so based on what your saying regarding the hardware to install, there is no projector then? I know the stock GS's do not run on projector, but for instance an audi, or bmw all do? how much different is it really?

Hey Steve,

Nother question for you on this topic! I am worries that 8K is WAY too purple looking. How many lumens does the kit have?? Is there any HID conversion kits with about 6K and 1800-2000 lumens?? That is what I am looking for...

Thanx,

Jason

8k is just a slight tint of blue. It is not purple what so ever.

Hey Steve,

I did not want to keep adding to the HID thread... But your email address gave me a kickback from the lovely postmaster. UGH! I am still a little unclear on the HID conversion kit you sell.... I understand that it is 8K (color, purple and blue) However what is the lumens? 1900 or something like that should be around the norm. I understand the the ballasts are Hella? or Phillips? Which is it? who actually makes the kit? The reason I am being so picky is that I have a friend that bought an HID kit for his 300ZX and it looks like crap, it is 8K and it is VERY purple, however it is not very bright... His lumens (brightness) is only like 1200... Can you give me some more details on the kit please??

Thanks,

Jason

Lumens are all the same according to their respectfull Temperature gradients.

6k is white
8k is white with a tint of blue.

Here is a picture of what the outside of the box looks like.

By the way. The new lextasy should be up in 48 hours or less.
