I have a Lexus IS 300 2002
I have a subwoofer that I would like to add that to factory sytem. Can i bridge the wires and connect it that way(through the 6x9 woofer part)?

You can easily splice into the rear speakers and run a line out converter for an amplifier. That is probably the easiest way to get the amp wired up. If you have a newer amp with high level inputs, no need for a line out converter, and the sound quality will be a lot better. Then all you have to run is power, ground and a remote turn on.

You can probably run your woofer w/o an amp, but I don't think you'll get the kind of sound you are looking for. I did this with an 8 and it gave a little thump, but nothing close to what I wanted.

My suggestion: buy a cheap amp (one that'll meet the requirement of your woofer) and plug and play. You'll be a lot happier with the end result.

yes or if you want to be lazy...... icon_rolleyes.gif
Unplug the fuse and wrap your amp turn on wire around one leg of the fuse, then plug it back in....

But you didn't hear that from me!
