SRT torque converter

Anyone with or without intake installed this yet?

im pretty sure SRT's TC is just a Precision Industry Dragon TC. plenty of GS owners have it, most swear by it, be sure if you buy one that you also add a tranny fluid cooler as well.

Is the Dragon TC as good or better then the RMM TC?

How much is a tranny fluid cooler? Is there one you recommend? links would be great

c'mon guys.....someone has to have the the SRT torque converter here....

is an aftermarket tranny cooler necessary?

also, I just got my SRT intake installed and was wondering what the advantages are to those aftermarket filter boxes...

any comments on those filter boxes compared to the heat shield that comes with the intake?

Dragon VS RMM is personal preference. Most people that have them recommend the Dragon.

Tranny cooler is absolutely necessary, the TC will cause higher temps in the fluid.

What filter box? Heatshield...eehhh it maakes a little difference, like what 1hp? Our filter is fortunate in that is well away from the headers, thus making a heatshield less effective than that of say a honda which the filter is rather close to the headers and therefore necessitating something like the cold air intakes they do offer for hondas. In other words, our filter is away from the hot parts of the engine and can suck in a good amount of cold air where it is without the use of a box or heatshield.

i didnt see any SRT tranny cooler, but if they have one id go with it. SRT knows their stuff.
