Stock Nav to watch TV, DVD MP3 and VCD!!! IS300/GS400

:? Hey i wanted to know if anybody know of a way to convert my Navi screen in my car to play DVD with a AUX DVD player (PS2) . i saw 1 thing from Nav-TV.com for a kit, but it cost $1200. and for that kind of cash id rather get a headunit tv. if any body knows anything about this topic please PM me or reply to the post. thanks

We are actually striking a deal with them to sell it legit. As of right now they are doing things quite shaddy. You must place your order for $300 and in 4-6 weeks they deliver via COD. I am currently waiting for mine.

Supposedly they are developing a full system that does not require the GEX-P7000TV tuner and save you about $300.

We'll see when I get mine how good the instructions are.

www.video-nav.com will do ya for $600ish... only thing is, massive splicing into the nav harness (in the trunk)

theres a guy on .net who has another product similar to the above, but requires no splicing as it utilizes the harness/plug. thats about $500 and only one unit instead of two like the above... peterc has one on his car, he's in socal... the guy selling/producing/marketing or whatever is VVT-i...

hmm if i remember right VVT-i agreed to distribute the product, i do not believe he is the inventor.

hey i wanted to know if any one heard from VVT_I noryce said he was a distrubitor for the DVD, nav converter. i know steve had a video-nav stsyem ordered but i heard with the video nav you have to butcher yoru Stock nav harness, and with VVT_I 's syetem is just plug and play ? if any one has any more info about VVT-I, or about any way to conver the nav to play dvds please respond . thanks

good news, VVT-i is selling some for 500 a piece, there are no performance issues at all and hes been running the new box for couple of months. It come with 2 AV inputs,1 input for reverse camera(camera options), 2 outputs for the rear monitor, bluid in TV tuner with included 4 divesity antenna, remote control, IR eye, video switching bottom for easy switching back to Nav its 500 dollars ship, vvt-i has 2 ready to go and like 5 arriving.

2nd Glance.....Includes everything needed for plug and play in cluding wiring harness, 2 TV antennas, Converters for RCA,and wireless remote.

Fellas I believe we have a full turnkey solution for watching TV, DVD, MP3, CD's, VCD's. YOU name it!!!

Very excited......It also comes with full installation instructions.

I have already asked them about an optional Trunk Camera and they were like no problemo......

here's some pictures....We sell the unit by itself for $600 including shipping. Optional AN-G3 Pioneer Amplified antenna is optional. The unit will come with dinky antennas that give poor reception.
