2001 Lexus gs300 electrical problems

Hi! This is my first post and my first real problem with my lexo. It is a 2001 gs300 with every single option added to it. Poor baby has 125k on it but running like a champ with my scheduled maintence. Heres my issue. It rained real bad here in San Diego yesterday and i dunno if that has anything to do with this but here it goes, I put my key in and my steering wheel didnt move to my settings, weird....so i put my key back in and same. So i manually set it , and try to roll down the passenger window, no go. None of the controls on my dirver side panel will work , except for my own window. The power door locks wont work on either side controls. The remote kinda works...sometimes it will unlock the car and sometimes it wont , when i hit the panic buton , sometimes it will beep and tell me the car is locked , other times the car makes a "clicking" sound. I unplugged the battery today for at least 1 hour and hooked everything back up and still no go. Another weird side note, the display lights on my dash where the speedomiter is is VERY bright...way brighter than normal , and when my headlights are on the headlight indicator wont light up letting me know there on. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions before i take it to the electrical shop ? thanks !

With so many things going at once, my hope of an easy repair would be a ground issue. I would clean the battery and ground strap connections. If problem remains, run a jumper wire to the metal part of the dash.
I've had some issues with ours but nothing like your symptoms.
