Rim Question

I have a 2004 GS430 and have been shopping around for rims and to be honest i dont know that much about them. Every place i go to asking what size i can fit on my car without rubbing everyone give me a different answer. The rims i Like are the Giovanna Dalars i want to get 20 by 8.5 in the front and like 20 by 10s in the back. Some places say i can only fit 20 by 8.5 and some places say i can fit 20 by 9.5 this whole rim shopping is driving me crazy! Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks!

Funny, I just bought a set of Giovanna's for my GS430. I got them off craigslist.com, and they're 18", not as big as I'd have liked, but I got the whole set, with tires, for $400, so I can't complain! I shopped for months before I found what I wanted. A great source of info was tirerack.com. You can input your model & year, and they'll ask how big you want to go. You can safely put 20" on the GS430, and you can go up to 10" wide in the back without rubbing, but not on the front. You can also see a picture of your car with any type of wheel. Only problem is the shipping costs, but if you have $2K to spend, check out tirerack. At least you'll know what sizes you can run. Good luck.

Yea i got my GS last summer and i have been shopping for rims ever since! I did check out tire rack and went to a couple of places where i live but the reason i wanted to know the size is because i know i can get the rims much cheaper on the internet. Thanks for your help!

What did you do with the old rims? My wife's GS300 has 2 that leak air. Need to post a WTB.
