Other than luxury why should one trade an STi for Lexus IS350? I been considering doing such since i have a kid now and i think the lexus is250/350 is one sweet looking sedan! Does the lexus have much body roll? does it feel light on it's feet or can you really feel the 3500lb?

I don’t know about the IS350 but the IS 250 is what i have, it is beautiful, drives great, fun extras, turns like its on rails, peppy (not that fast), push start, automatic overdrive(Tiptronic), paddle shifters, smooth drive and its pretty classy. The only two things that i would tell you are, It is a small car on the inside, meaning that I am a small girl and it is little, so if you are tall or large I wouldn’t not get it. It has accommodations for baby seats in the back as well though i don’t know if i would put a baby in such a nice car, the other thing is that its kind of touchy, meaning if you hit any sort of dip or bump in the road you feel it.. anyways these are just some things i thought you might find helpful hope they help you make your decision. you should go test drive them before making your ultimate decision though.

STi - I have an 04 STi, and just recently bought an IS250 AWD for the finacee. After test driving the IS350 - it doesn't have the pure "whee" factor that you get from the subbie. But the luxury sure is nice, and the ride is a lot less harsh. So it all depends on if you want from a pure drivers aspect I would keep the STi, but the Lexus does have better resale, more family friendly (back-seat), and generally more of a "grown-up" car. Just my two cents.
Have a good one and drive like you mean it.
