Hey gang! I'm completely new to the SC400. I am trying to fix a couple of burned out lights and ran into another problem. The car will not shift out of park now. I know there is a solenoid that locks out the shifter movement from Park until the brake pedal switch is made. All of this worked fine when I started working on the 3rd brake light assembly which was not functioning. I removed and checked a couple of fuses hoping to find one burned out, but initially all were fine. After putting the cover back on the fuse box I tried to start the car and pull it out of my garage, but it would not shift out of Park. I went back and checked the fuses again, and the 15AMP fuse for the cig lighter, theft deterent sys, SHIFT LOCK SYSTEM, SRS airbag, inst panel lights was blown. I replaced it and it blew again. I put a 20AMP fuse in it and it doesn't blow, but the car still won't shift out of Park.
