I am debating which one to get: is350, 335i, and the TL-S (all new). The prices are fairly equal and I like the looks. I think the is350 is faster, followed by the TL then the 335i (correct me if I'm wrong). I was wondering what is your guys/girls' opinion on which vehicle I should get. Right now i got a 325i and I want a faster car, but still nice looking, not trashy.

The major differentiating factor between IS350 and Acura TL Type S is there is a manual transmission that is available, which would make a huge difference to the driving pleasure.

The IS 350 is an awesome car in all angles compared to the Acura.
I would also have liked if a steering with better driver feedback is available.

Its time that the IS 350 is available with a manual transmission

I just went through selecting from the very same choices. I opted for the IS350 and have had it for a week now. I love it. It was a very difficult decision for me since I badly wanted a manual transmission. However, I also wanted the bells and whistles and, in the end, the Lexus won based on a balance of performance (even without the MT) and luxury. For me, a particular selling point was that the Bluetooth sound quality was very high. I often take meetings for work in my car and having optimal sound quality for teleconferences was a must. It is a phenomenal car and I have absolutely no regrets (though I will be first in line when a MT does come available!).

I test drove all those cars today, Plus the new G37S .. in my honest opinion. the TL-S sucked in handling and was under powered. Tho the IS350 and 335i are rated at around the same horsepower from the factory, the 335i has proven time after time on dynos that it can make the factory number and more to the wheels. I drove the IS350 and 335i back to back and there really wasn't any comparision. The salesperson was really laid back and he took me to a backroad and i just let the 335i go, i was in triple digits before i can say wow. Just my 2 cents

TL vs 335i vs IS350? I owned an 05 TL which was a nice vehicle but provided a bland driving experience (navi / bluetooth was incredible, best of the three in my opinion). Choice for me came down to 335i or IS350. While the BMW is quicker and handles tremendously, it was not worth the $12,000 higher price for equally equipped BMW vs the Lexus; ie $500 for comfort access vs standard on Lexus. etc. I've owned several BMWs including an M3, and I never thought I'd own a Lexus (well, not until I'm totally gray...), but the IS350 provides an exciting driving experience along with incredible bang for the buck. Oh, one other thing...with a handshake, no paperwork nor deposit, the Lexus dealer let me use a brand new loaner for 3 weeks since my TL was sold..... They said just drive it and we'll call when a 350 arrives. Call it marketing, closing the deal, whatever, but I could have brought the loaner back and dropped it off with no strings attached..... That proved the Lexus customer service level I have always heard about.

Heres the deal, you want power and handling? Buy a Corvette, hands down the fastest and best handling car for the money, bar none (check your refrences before comments).
If you want a unadulterated sports car without breakdowns, high mainenance, or broken switches, etc. then Lexus is your choice hands down. Oh, and by the way, you will get the quietest ride you've ever experianced.
Lexus isn't first in satisfaction, reliability reports for the last 20 years for nothin.
That will be $100 please
thank you, come again
Kaching!
