The noise seems to be a scraping sound as if the wheel is hitting the inner fender. Same rubbing noise then it disappears. Can it be a capiler/piston stuck? Only happends when the car is parked for a few hours. Will not repeat once driven. And will not occur if the engine is NOT turned off. Possible a electrical switching pulse from brake unit. The 02 has only 13k miles ! just purchased ...whats up ?? The metal clips that hold the pads ...The Lexus engineers deliberately designed some space or spring in the clips. When you change direction and apply the brakes the holding clips make contact with the metal surface causing the noise. Engineers say this is NO problem...The pads still float and the clips cause the noise.. Case solved.
