Im planning on getting a new GS.. 98-01.. Is there any differences between those years?? I just cant decide with out knowing the major differences.. exterrior? engine? interrior? Please help! any information would be helpful..

I owned a 99 Gs400 before I'm not sure if you are getting the 300 series or the 400 series the difference between the years that you are looking at are that there are none. there are many different versions on the 300 that you may like there is a sport design which has nice alloy rims there own custom paint job and some of them have orange leather. There is a plantinum series as well which I believe uses the coach leather. It is the same as a normal Gs300. I own a 2002 GS430 now I will never go back to the V6 engine after owning a lexus with an V8. Let me know if I can help you out with anything else. P.S. I like Choclate chip cookies!!

Just throwin it out there that it is NOT a V6, it is an inline 6, quite possibly the best 6 cylinder ever made, period.
