I have the same problem with vibration over 60 mph, several different people have told me it could be that your existing tires are not VSR (vehicle speed rated) for my car. Typically V and H rated tires work best on a GS300 from what I'm told.....
y2komar, what type of tires do you have? I am going today to have my tires balanced again and have the rings checked (maybe one of the grease monkey's from Jiffy Lube lost one when rotating my tires last oil change???) Both are legitimate reasons for vibration through a certain speed range.
But I am also in the market for new tires, down to 10% tread on the rears and 20% on the front. My lead foot has been killing me when I take off at a corner, need to turn off my VSC
Can anyone give me suggestions on which ones work well with a 2001 GS300???? Please, I need to go today/tomrw

if your GS300 is a second generation then according to posts and "how to" on club lexus forum, you can adjust the pretensioner and that will fix your problem. In regards to the First Generation GS300, I have the shake problem I cant seems to resolve or now anyone who has resolve this issue. good luck and keep me posted
