Need opinions regarding purchase of !S350

Hi guys. I am new to this forum but would appreciate any input given. For the past two years I have owned and modded a BMW 330ci. Many performance upgrades and plus size wheels and such. It is gotted to the point that this car is not that practical, however fun.....the ride is not comfortable anymore due to modifications. I am just plain getting tired of it. I have been looking at all the cars available that fills my criteria. Looks, handling, comfort, performance. Well the one car that shined the most was the IS350. You all know the attributes, so no need to state here. I am older now, (50) and want a nice comfortable ride with good performance. I do not want to get into the modding game again. Do you think this would be a wise choice for me? Could it easily take my bimmers place as real practical transportation? Just need help rationalizing the purchase of a new car. Is this car all what you expected?

Get the IS350 with Luxury package w/ nav & M.L. sound system and you'll be set. Go to www.edmunds.com. Click car reviews, find IS350, go to "consumer reviews" and find out what people are saying about this car!
Don't waste your time reading the so called "expert" reviews! Read what the consumers are saying.
When you get ready to buy, remember to be patient, because these car's are gone as soon as they hit the lots. I had to wait 2 months for mine and I bought it in LA where the ships dock!

I forgot to mention on my last post that my age is 54 and I think this car knocked about 20 years off my age!!

I drove four to compare, the IS350, BMW 325 (and the 330), the Acura TL, and the Infinity G35 Sedan. Each had its own niche and pro's and con's but without a doubt, the Lexus had a lot more "fun" factor. Although the back seat room was less than desirable than the others, I couldn't pass up the grin factor with driving the IS350. Handling was very close to all four, but with the wheel/tire package on the IS350, along with the steering wheel shifters, you just couldn't compare the other three. I bought mine fully loaded and still managed $3k off MSRP. Gotta love Lexus!
