what is the best bang for your buck on an is300

i own a 2001 is300, and want to add something to it, either a grill or air intake or something. What is the best bang for you buck on an is300? Im looking to spend around $200-$300.

You can always put something small on like clear front and rear corner lenses. They are like 40 bucks a pair. Or you can change out your blinker lights to ultra white. Tent the windows. Just keep it clean. Don't buy anything cheap. Cause remeber it's a Lexus!

ok, well if im not going to put any upgrades on the car then im just going to get a grill. What could i get that would make my muffler sound louder, but not ricerish? or should i get like an air intake? headers? do those things cost to much? thx for the info

Dude for 200 bucks the best thing your going to be able to get are some simple lights are a cheap ass intake.....forget headers you can't afford it. If your only willing to spend 200 dollars on your IS300 then do it a favor and don't invest anything at all. The last thing you need to do is buy some apex or NOS stickers and put that crap all over your car. Keep it stock unless your willing to put forth some money. I just bought an exhaust for 400 and some rims and wheels for 1500. 200 dollars will pay for some damn good car cleaner stuff and some towles so invest in keeping it looking clean or something. I don't mean to offend but that's just not enough money to do anything. If you want your muffler to sound louder than pop a small hole in it but in order to make it NOT sound "ricer-ish" than you have to spend more than that. I guess you can go with cosmetics only, but no actual parts

Just look around and don't always buy everything from this site b/c it's kinda expensive here. Look at what you want and do a search for it on google or something to find the best possible price.

ok thnx. the reason i am not willing to spend so much money is because i am in debt by oike $3000 because i wrecked my car in january and got it fixed. i payed off most of it, and its fixed and all, just i can't save money to spend on added things for my car untill i pay back the money. i fucked up everything in the front end of my car in the accident. no body damage though. I had to get all new suspension whell ect. alot of other stuff. my recomendation make sure that the traction controll is on all the time b/c mine was accidentaly off and i turned way to fast and hit like 5 pot holes and lost controll. and overcorrected and did a 180 into the curb it fucked up so much shit. well yea thats it.

it was an acident. i think that its my tires b/c i get really bad traction.

i think that my tires were on backwards b/c i just had my car serviced and my tire tread is facing the other way, and now i get amazing traction. also i HIGHLY RECOMEND getting your throttle body, carborator, air intake, etc. cleaned at the dealership. it gives you better gas mileage, and greatly improves preformance. its like i have a different car. its so much faster. i think that im going to buy subs for my car, but i need to know if i can install subs w/ the stock head unit???? also im going to put the subs in my trunk, but im worried about stuff in my trunk hitting the sub b/c i put my backpack and other stuff in my trunk. should i be worried, or like buy a cover for the sub?? also what are good subs to buy, but they have to be affordable, i only have $300 to spend on everything, amp, subs, and box. i found on crutchfield.com 2 12" mtx's in a box, w/ an amp for $250. are mtx's good????
