I have hundreds of hours spent researching a company that could make my car perform and handel the way I wanted. SRT sucks, major problems with their turbo. The kit bolts from the new header to the stock 2 1/2 inch exhaust, have they not heard of back pressure? turbo baffel? The kit for $3500 is a joke, the ecu in our cars is to smart to trick into thinging nothing has been changed. If you put larger injectors like 440cc or larger your car will see the change and flash the check engine light. When the check engine light comes on the car dumps fuel to compinsate, dumping fuel is the opposite that you want. The injector duty cycle can not be changed on the stock ecu. Toyomoto in florida does great work, awesome work but they are some high coin to get. Maxxauto works the guy's that did mine rock. For a basic turbo kit call Jon @253-640-2557. The turbo kit is very close to being done. We all have spent a ton of money on our cars, we are not part on the normal lexus owners who are happy with the cars performance. We are the people they frown at and think how we ruined that perfectly good car. But secretly wish they could be like us. Keeping the cars everyday driveability and the track performance is hard to do. For $5000 or less almost imposible, remember these words "air fuel ratios" With these cars that is what will haunt you to spend more money to make it run great. Do it right the first time, after the first cut into the motor there is no going back. :? Till you what though, the feeling of a modified car is fu#&ing awesome.

Boost there is no substitute, not even nitrous. Unless you 1970's charger, I don't want to talk about that. Find a happy place icon_twisted.gif

SRT has a few bad reviews, mainly on their customer services/business practice end... not so much towards their turbo kits..

PFS was doubted by the ppl at the beginning, but they've come through with great kits and great reviews from just about everyone that have it.

TBKO has a kit for 01 auto.. but they seem to abandan the turbo route and going for super charger instead... :?

my intercooler is hidden pretty well, look closely under the lic plate. You can see the end caps.

My mistake, their kit is for 02 manuals only... bleeeh...

but I heard that they switched their focus on super charger kit now...

This cat is just out of the bag. The dude is running about 6-7psi from the SC on the 01 automatic. The SC uses stock header and exhaust!! They are even applying for CARB certification!! icon_eek.gif icon_eek.gif

The scheduled release date is June30th... right after the dabute of PLP's S/C. icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

From what I've read, this kit can be easily upgraded to handle more boost for higher HP.

Arrrg.... I can't wait..... gotta save the money... icon_razz.gif icon_razz.gif

I don't know the official price... but the owner of the kit is saying around 6k and the installation will be $400.

6k is a little high for the kit's hp output.. but 400 is quite cheap for the installation. I don't think it will be complicated to install if they have good documentations/manuals for it..

I wouldn't do a SRT kit if they paid me. R U fuckin kidding me?? SRT has got to be one of the worst companies I have ever heard of...

I heard Toyomoto is the best, but located a little too east for me.

TBKO seems to be nice, that Mr. Mark dude has a nice setup. Seems to be reliable and real clean.

I saw a PFS in person, and although the performance aspect of it was incredible, I was not impressed by the quality of the kit itself. The owner said it was nowhere near "bolt in", and it took the guy nearly 2 months of off time to install it. It seemed a little rough, like it may not be reliable. But man, one drive in that thing and I was sold on a turbo...
