I hear the torque on the IS350 is rediculously strong.

It is! I had an '02 vette 6sp and it had loads of torque, but this IS 350 is smoother and seems quicker, I hate to say, than my vette.

Hi all,
I'm a new owner of an IS 350 and this is my first post. This particular topic is one reason I came here.
My IS 350 is technically used. It was first sold in June or July but the original owner decided it was too small for him and traded. The car has 1,850 miles on it, so I consider it new. It's an 06 in Tungsten Pearl. It has the Mark Levinsion sound system, birds-eye maple, perforrated leather (black), heated/vented seats, nav system, XM radio, and I think just about every option they offered. The dealer is tinting the windows for me.
The dealership tricked this one out with ground effects and high-end momo wheels and tires (not sure the tire brand off-hand). I got the original rims and wheels too, and added the interior/exterior protection. The whole deal came to about $45,000. I think I came out good, considering the tires and wheels alone are worth about $6k.
This is by far the most incredible automobile I've ever owned. You can see more pics of it here:

not trying to burst your bubble or anything. I highly doubt those wheels are worth 6k.

Jnoggs & SmallStoneFan Those are very nice rides.
Let me tell you about the luck I never knew I had. As I was preparing to come home from Iraq, I had my wife call around to locate me a new IS350 as I have been in love with these cars since the birth of the IS model. I just never could afford one till now. Sewell in Dallas called my wife back and told her of this corperate demo he had coming in. As soon as demo came out her mouth I said no way. I was thinking I can finally afford and brand new car, not only that, I can afford the one I want. The hell with demo's, till I saw it. It had everything, everything I wanted plus packages that you just can't option together.
here is the details:
07 IS350 Starfire Pearl
Sport tuned: Exhaust/Tranny/susphension
Premium interior, 3 way driver/pass memory, leather heat/vent seats
Mark Leveninson DVD/Nav
Birdseye maple
rear window power shade
exterior lip kit
18" gun metal multi spoke rims
rear bumper aplique, cargo net and trunk mat
I'm sure this isn't all the options, but it is the ones I can remember off the top of my head. lol The car did have 5k miles on it. With all the options it msrp at 50k, I gave 43k for it. and I'm a Very Happy IS owner.
She is a rare one indeed!!!
