Man! That is fukin chunky as hell! I am coming into some sweet money.. mind telling me the offset of your rims please? And exactly what you used to lower the car?

That is prolly the best looking non-riced GS3 I have seen in the last 2 years. A grill would complete that to no end.

Car looks great, but before spending any more $$ on mods, I would get the paint work taken care of. You can see that the the front half of the driver's side, or the back half, has been painted. Whover did the paint work should have faded the paint onto the panel next to it. That way, you don't get the two-tone look when viewing the car at certain angles.

Before you go hating on me, I just bought myself a silver '01 430 and it has the same issue. I'm at the point of deciding whether I should have the whole car painted, or just have the problem areas taken care of.

Look at the pictures you posted closely. The driver side front door and fender are a different shade than the rear door and quarter panel. You can see this when metalic paints are sprayed at different times, especially silver. I do not know all of the technical terms, but it has something to do with the way the metal in the paint lays. The way to avoid this is to "fade" the paint into the panel next to the area being fixed, thus eliminating the hard line between the 2 shades of paint.

That's what I;m talking about.

Dude,(Illmatic) just rock your silver GS with your cock out! That shit is tight! Paint is fine.

P.S. Did you ever think of maybe light in cameras could be imperfect, not to mention things we call shadows??? (johnnyo808)

No I never thought it was the camera or shadows. It is the way the light is reflected off the paint. It's lighter in the front/darker in the back, because the paint was applied at different times. Anybody who knows paint will attest to this. I'm not slamming the car, its very nice. I am just pointing out the issue, as I am experiencing it myself. I am not going to accept it, though. I plan on resolving the issue, as opposed to pretending the problem does not exist.

Yo I have a simple question...I am thinkin on purchasing 20's for my car too but wanted to know if there is a big gap between the tire and the wheel well...Also when u lowered it did it look coo' still without the kit?...One more question..someone told me to get wider rims for the back like 9.5 width back and 8.5 width front...I dont know why but he says the rear tire well is wider than the front...Are all your rims the same width?...Holla back....Peace...

Ill, I've already posted twice that my car has some paint issues. As far as me seeing the negative, I suppose you are right, and I didn't stress enough that the car looks awesome. I love the big wheels, they look great with the kit.

Having said that, I assume you take pride in your ride, and want it to be a reflection of you. I pointed out the paint issue, because people who know cars, will see this the minute you pull up. It will be their first impression, and no matter how big or shiny the wheels are, you will be the guy with the "two-tone" paint.

Now, if you would rather the people around you, and those in this forum, mislead you, and tell you car is perfect. Well that is fine. But let me ask you this. If you were walking around town with a food stuck in your teeth, would you want anyone to tell you? Or would you want people to tell you there is nothing there, and maybe it's the way the light is reflecting off your teeth?

One more time, the car looks SUPER!!!! But be honest with yourself and take a close look at the pictures, and the car itself. If you don't see what I'm talking about, it's because you don't want to. And that's OK.

A good tip for you Illmatic . Do not buy anything form Lextasy.
I a starting a boycott until they correct my roof spoiler problem.
They made a bad product sold it and will not stand behind it.

There is also a way better forum at www.clublexus.com.

Hey guys dont flame the guy that mentioned the paint. Im no paint expert, but i guess he knows what hes talking about (*shock*). He just gave a decent opinion so lay off the guy. You could just as easily said "ill check it out because i dont know what you are talking about" and who knows, maybe hes right?

This is constructive, and no dissing was intended! If Ill's feelings were hurt, I'm sorry. But he needs to be a big boy and accept ALL opinions when he asks for them! I'm not one to blow smoke up people's a$$, so I just brought the flaw to Ill's attention. It's something that can easily be fixed, and should be if he plans on showing off his car. If he just wants the car to be so-so, then leave it as is.

Hey SUPERLEX, thanks for the kind words.

ISELLEXUS - What is this "crap" you are talking about? Are you telling me that the rules of this forum require that only "nice" comments be made about everything? Are the egos here that delicate?? Ill can be upset with me if he wants, but it doesn't fix his problem.

I will end my comments here, but just don't piss on me and tell me it's raining!!

Is everyone looking at the same pictures that I am?!?!?!?!
