| Got no clue what the offsets are, however I have seen several GS's with 20's. BOTTOM line I am gonna roll tuff with 20's. They look dope after you get a nice drop too.

|
|
| i just put 20 inch lowenhart rims on my 01 gs300 and they fit nice. the front is 20x8.5 and the rear is 20 by 10's. they are on nitto nt555 tires. the rears are 275,30,20 and the fronts are 245,35,20. the only time the tire rubs a little, is when i reverse on certain driveways at angles.

Since i work on lexus everyday. I know it'll hit the fenders if it bottom out on a bad pothole especially if you lower it. The most 19"............. the
L-tune offer 18" as a factory upgrade. You do the math !

I may be a perfectionist but I've had 19s for awhile now and feel like they are not big enough for the length of the car when viewing it directly from the side. I see 19s on 3 series all the time and a GS is comparable to a 5 series. 20s seem perfect for the size of the GS sedan (I hate the word too but yes it is a sedan).
If I had an IS, a BMW 330, a CLK, or a G35 I would go 19s. If I had an E class, 5 series, or in our case a GS I am gonna go with 20s. If I had a BMW 745 or 645 or an SUV like a range rover I would go w/ 22s.
The worst is buying something then wishing you weren't so conservative about it. I feel I did this with 19s. When i bought my sound system i was gonna go with 2 10s but decided on 2 12s b/c why not have that much power when you want to.
Just my opinion.

I could not agree more with you on the whold doing it right the first time thing. I guess 18, 19,20 are close but yet so very far away. The cost of 20's does not warrant me getting them just yet. 19's with a nice drop job will look tight, don't get me wrong, 20's are dope, but I do not want to drive so damn careful missing every potential fender buster of a bump. Going over a speed bump one wheel at a time again is a pain in the ass. After 18's the tires are expensive anyways... Shit I dunno, maybe I will just flip a coin! What a fuken ponder to be stuck with.
Like I said lots of photos/pics to look at to make my decision.
