questions about lexus gs

Howdy,
I'm new to this forum and I'd just like to ask some questions
regarding Lexus GS300.

I'm shopping around for a used Lexus GS300 year 99-01.
What is the major difference between 99,2000 and 2001
year models of GS300? Is there a particular year model
that's good that I should look for? Any tips or pointers
as to what to look for and what to avoid will be
greatly appreciated.

Well I have a 2000 GS300, the only difference between the 99,00, and the 01 is that the 99 and 00 have different rear lights compare to the 01. And some features will be different, depending on how the first owner bought there car. Beware of lousy car salesman, and make sure you buy your car certified. Key element!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try to buy new. I just bought a new 2005 for invoice. I heard they will have new 2006 GS 300s in stores to test in 4 weeks so the '05s are being cleared out and you might do better than me.

Loving it so far but have not driven it much due to snow in my area.
