Turbo questions

Can I get wider tires for my 2002 5speed, I am destroying my P zero's while I am in boost. I need bigger contact patch, the tires break free even in 3rd gear. Any idea's would greatly appreciated. You can see pics of the car at www.maxxautoworks.com They did an awesome job. I killed my wife's gs400. Also a M3 and M5 got to look at the back end of my car several times yesterday.

Why did you choose them? There're plenty of other choice for turbo: SRT, TBKO, PHR, TOYOMOTO,... just to name a few..

Anyways, getting back to your question, "YES", you can get wider tires. I have 18x9 with +44 offset rims + 235 tires on my rear. But I had to shave my rear fender a little because it would scrape when I go over big dips. My car is dropped on Tein HT springs for your reference....

I choose them because of their history with the 2JZ and the 7m. They have cars that come out of there with scary rear wheel numbers. They have a kit for the IS300 that you can bolt on yourself. You would end up with 300+ at the tires. They have had several cars in different magazines, I talked with Aaron and JT about what I wanted and they said no problem. Oh by the way the grocery getter killed a M3 like no other, he turned off the highway before we could B.S. "Loser"
Anyways back to my question have any ideas who I should call for the wider wheels??

unless its a typo...tire rack says you can squeeze a 255 in the back on a 19in tire...if you dont elieve me go to tire rack pick the moda r6s and click optional tire for rear.....

you could always go widebody and get some flares and actually cut out your stock fenders to allow a wider tire... that gold turbo IS that was on turbo mag (was it turbo?) had that. he had some WIDE ASS tires on there...

I have an intercooler, the pipe that runs from the cold side to my throddel body is a 3 inch(diameter) chrome pipe.
