Gone Loco

Hey when I was on the highway yesterday my "check engine" light came on and my traction control was blinking all the way home. It didn't effect any performance or anything but I don't want to drive it if something's wrong. Anybody know what this is, or how i fix it?

man your luck,
you only got two lights going off.
My car's got Trac, Check Engine, Front headlight, Brake, Brake light, ABS, Any the best of all my speedometer doesn't work. LOL
All happened when i forgot to tighten my lugs and the front driver side wheel flew off. Car is still at the shop getting fixed.

Shit, i hope it's not a header problem because the car is supposed to be stock. I bought it like a month ago from an Independent dealer for a good deal because he said it was in a minor accident and there was no frame damage or anything but the bumper and airbox got hurt a little. But both of those got replaced w/ genuine factory products. Sooooo I'm thinking i should figure this out before i go to the closest lex dealer crying. Well i'm glad i got that warranty now.

I was checking the repair work done to my car and realized that there's still a golfball-sized hole in my airbox behind the filter. I've been driving around with this for like three weeks. Is that seriously bad for my engine, getting all that unfiltered air?

i think there should be a tube or something on the other side of that hole right? (the outside) wish i had my air box then i could check for you.

yea i had that problum two weeks ago. it only started after i had a new deck put in. i had to go back and take everything out and it turns out that when you use a new deck not all the wires get used and they left one open so after i took it out it hasnt gone crazy so you might want to do that it should only take you a hour
