19" IS300 wheels

i want to put 19" wheels on an IS, something like HRE 545's or zauber gettin or ifoged fs aeros and i was wondering about size. i want to do 19x8 in the front and 19x9.5 in the back. is this going to rub at all? what about after i lower it an inch and a half? or an inch? how does this affect performance? can someone explain to me what exactly getting your fenders rolled means? also, what do tire sizes like 225/35/19 and 265/35/19 mean and how do they affect fitment of the wheel? what do the numbers mean? also, when you do modifications to your fenders to put 19's on your IS, can you put them back to stock down the road? sorry for all the questions, if someone could enlighten me i would appreciate it. thanks!

I had to do some searching but this link will show you exactly what "rolling your fenders" is. It's basically pulling your fenders farther away from the car if your tire isn't close enough to the car.

I can't answer your question about if the 19's will fit because I don't have an IS, but I can answer your question about what all the tire numbers mean.

Take 225/35/19 for example

1. The 225 at the beginning is the measurement of the tire from sidewall to sidewall or "footprint of the tire" in millimeters.

2. The 35 after the first slash mark is what you call the aspect ratio. This is the ratio of the height of the tire to the width of the tire put into a percentage out of 100. I don't think you'll ever see an aspect ratio bigger than 45 percent.

3. The 19 at the end is the rim size of your tire.
