Well i was cruising thru Malibu Cyn. and decided to acclerate past a slow ass Corolla. I thought I knew where all the Sheriffs were hanging out, well they have a new place I have to add to the list. As I was coming into a corner and there he was waiting there with his speed gun. Had it right on me and I saw him as quick as he saw me, I knew he tagged me. When I saw him put the speed gun down i knew my ass was gone. Next light I pulled over and sure enough he was right behind me with the lights on. As he walked up to my new vehicle, I had my engine shut off and my license and my "get out of jail card" ready. He saw the license and my "get out of jail card" and shook his head and had a smile on his face. He was surprised that I pulled over immediately and admitted that I was speeding, in fact that earned me BONUS points in his book. He asked me how"new" was the car? I replied, 2 weeks, he said, "learning how to control the gas pedal." I said , yes sir. He asked for the license out of my wallet and he ran it. He came back to the vehicle and said "this is a warning, slow down". I replied ,yes sir.
The officers overall demeanor was relaxed and cool. Not the usual angry officer we all have dealt with. Guess I lucked out today
This should be a lesson to all my fellow members, be respectful and don't give the officer guff. Oh and it helps to have a "get out of jail card" too _________________ 2001 Solar Yellow IS300. Graphite polished rims, LSD. (Officially TOTALLED)
