Peter Farrell Supercars has released its shippable turbocharger kit for both the automatic and 5 speed Lexus IS300’s. This is a comprehensive kit including everything required to boost your IS300 to upwards of 500 horsepower. All OEM functions of the car remain operational including traction control, cruise control and the check engine light.

yeah... pfs just released this kit.... he even sold one to super street for their project IS300... i think he has his shit together and im probably gonna be sending my car to him for a stage 2.5 in the near future

I don't think 6k is for the 500hp one...

I think it's for their stage I non intercooled. Prove me wrong and I'll jump on it.

sounds funny, how can you boost on high compression pistons? 500 horse power is huge. If you lean out you will burn though a piston, the duty cycle on stock injectors and fuel pump can't keep up. But it all comes back to the pistons and head gasket. The biggest problem with boosting an is300 is the traction control system. If you break tires loose the computer shut's the fuel down, oh shit you just burned a piston. We installed two additional injectors behind the throttle plate to make sure that it would not happen. Ask for dyno footage where you can see the air fuel mixture.

6k for 500hp kit?
i went to the site and i dont see it.
it says the

The Stage II kit includes all of the above components as well as a 3mm metal head gasket, Turbosmart boost controller, large front mount intercooler with 2.5" stainless steel piping kit and larger fuel injectors. This lowers the static compression ratio to a boost-friendly 8.6:1 for more horsepower output on pump gas. Typical installations result in over 400 RWHP at 15 psi of boost.

but it says its 9grand, not 6.

check out www.maxxautoworks.com they did my turbo. They are making a bolt kit. It will be well below $10k installed. You probably would be able to get it for 5-6 thousand shipped.
I could come down to cali if you wanted to see what a completed kit looks like if there where a lot of intrest.

I'm still looking at it. 500 horse power would rip a tranny to pieces. No intercooler? Hmmm Could be a great find but I would recommend asking for a list of people that have the s.charger on their car. There is nothing than feeling the surge of power from boost. The 2jz-ge is such an whore, I can turn my boost up and just shake the ground. Ya baby

boost there is no substitute

$7800.00 That included clutch,exhaust and labor plus a few odds and ends. Their kit will be less and you can bolt it on out of the box. I can drive down to help if you have a few guys get it.
They did more to my car, but $7800 was for the turbo, labor,clutch and exhaust. I can work out a whole sale kit if you want. The owner is my neighbor, I can work a deal for ya. They can twin turbo your GS
