I want to get rid of the yellows. Is that yellow lens removable? Sorry I'm a newb in car modification. Just purchased new IS 2 months ago. icon_biggrin.gif

then do most people switch out the whole fog light? i just want some white to come out down there, not yellow... i looked up bulbs, and piaa makes a replacement bulb as long as that yellow lense is there, it wont matter...

If you want to tackle clearing them yourself, here is a tutorial from my friend Eddie (IS300GTR):

Check out www.is300.net for more info...do a search first before you get FLAMED!

Here some pics of mine:

Good Luck! icon_biggrin.gif

yeah, but those are just bulbs right? will that have an effect even if that yellow lens is still in there. I was under the impression it was easy to just replace the whole fog unit.

I don't understand your question but i will try to answer it.

Replacing the "bulb" and not the whole unit will still have yellow.

The lense it self is tinted yellow.

right, so does somebody make a replacement unit for the IS (one without that yellow lens), or do you just have to come close with another aftermarket piece? sorry for the confusion. thanks for the feedback.
