2006 ES330 SIRIUS OPTION

My dealer wanted 1,200 for the option for the sirius that is run through the navigation system? Anyone know of an alternative source/method for the sirius option that is operated through the nav system? Also, a more reasonably priced southern california dealer would be great too..

Terk makes a sirius piece that starts shipping in August. It's 199 and requires install and an antenna...

$1200 bucks!!!! that seems steep ... I'm not sure about the 2006 es330 but I have a 2005 with the DVD Nav and ML system. I had a dealership order the sirius unit (parts dept) and installed it myself. It was pretty easy and I think the most I paid was like $200 -$225. Came with the unit, antanne and all the stock wirring. The antanne is a little bulky (not like a standard sirius model ant) mounts on the windshield next to the rain sensor. The unit actually gets mounted under the passenger seat and the harness plugs right into the back of the in dash tuner. Took about an hour because I was being careful not to scratch the wood dash.
