right now my car does not have heated seats and when i was wiring the headunit i noticed it had the wires and connectors for them, i was wondering if anyone knows if lexus wires them and puts them in every car just with out the buttons. Becuase if they do i could just buy the buttons. but i didnt know if they put the heating coils in the seats. if anyone knows let me know

Do you have leather seats? because on some models they put all of that stuff in and no buttons but if you have the cloth seat NO

Well i have the suede/leather seats, not all leather.

so wait, your telling me that i have heated seats, but just no buttons to turn in on and off ? i have a 2002 with full leather, i dont have that suede, leather combo. if thats true where can i buy those buttons, and how do i check to see if i have the heated seats before i buy those buttons !!

well spaces for them are next to the t.c. button and all you have to do is reachup in there and slide it out

ok wait , so i Definetly DO have heated seats just not buttons to turn them on ? and can you give me detailed directions on how to pop out those fake covers next to teh TC button, and on where to buy those buttons from !! thanks man

well its pretty easy you just pop the fake things out and im not sure wear to buy them but check on ebay and just hook them up

i just bough 2 buttons, they should be here friday, but i was out trying to figure out how to take out those covers and i really cant figures out how to do it. some one told me to pry then from teh front but i dont want to damage the surrounds. so how do i get them out ?

DO YOU HAVE POWER SEATS ALL SO BEACUSE IF YOU DONT HAVE POWER SEATS YOU WILL NOT HAVE THE CORE IN IT WIRED UP

Well mine just poped out from the inside. but TFS- So is there any way i have the heating elements in my seats. I have power seats, but the suede/leather combo??

You should WITH the power seats and the leather or leather combo, to save Toyota money they use these seats with everything installed (to me it sounds like it would cost money but I am not a multi billion $ company) but it is more of a time issue THEY DID THIS WITH MOST SEATS at the factory but like I said there are some that did not do this. MY 2004 IS has the core in it but no buttons and in my 2001 I wanted cloth seats (75 pounds lighter than the leather seats)so no heater core. So you should have the heater core in it, It might not be wired in you may need to wire it(dont ask me how) but they should be there

i just bought a 03 is300 fully loaded except for heated seats. after removing the HU i seen the wriing for the HTED seats and i was wondering if u guys were successfull in figuring out if the seats just need the button to work?
and also i was wondering if also, we had the memory seat option. cuz when i looked under steering wheel left side there was 2 wiring with end connections waiting to have somethin pluged into them. can any help me with this wiring headache.

and also can someone please tell me where i can get the heated seats BUttons?

Well I never really pursued it becuase I was never able to find the buttons, and Im not really sure about the memory seat option cuz Ive sold my 300 and upgraded to the 350 so I can't look and see.
