Whats up with sportcompactpro sponsorship

Whats up guys anybody heard about sportcompactpro I just got picked up for a a sponsorship but I don't know if I want to do it yet. From what I have heard they are some BS I had to pay $89 for them to set it all up but I get it back a taxs time. Anyways if anybody is part of this or knows about it let me know if its good or not before I sign thanks guys peace[color=red][/color]

never heard of it. Plus i never had to pay for processing fees if its a sponsorship.

well it has beena few weeks since i received the call from kurt at scp.since then,everything has came on schedule as far as the contracts go.i just wanted to say thank you for keeping the dream alive for me.i purchased my 2001 nissan sentra in 2001.first new car!i had some ideas about fixing it up. so i got rims ,then came a body kit.time for paint.designs were laid out to do an awsome tribal design.well needing to have someone put my bodykit on,i decided to let the guys at PAULS PAINT & BODY in MORRISTOWN TN.do the work.well 17 weeks later my car only had the body kit put on!!!!!!these people had sold there business in the middle of doing my car!NOPI was coming up and now is gone.until the call from kurt came in ,i had giving up and was going to sell the car.so i dont know if this will ever get read.but i just wanted to say "THANKS" BCJ[/b]

I don't know if they are for real, but i got the same phone call, only i didn't have my debit card, so kurt was supposed to call me back, but he never did. how much did he tell you guys for the sponsor? he told me $12,000. if you guys hear anything let me know. thanks,

I had a friend that actually signed up for that particular sponsorship with SCP. With the 89 dollar processing fee, and after about a month he recieved his sponsorship package (After they shipped it to the wrong address twice.) It's claimed to be a 12,000 dollar sponsorship, in which they can save you 65-70% off parts and what not. Which comes off like, you choose what you want and you only have to pay 30%, which would be great. But in reality, they just offer you a variety of parts at wholesale prices (Saving you the said 65-70%, or so they figure.) Which is good for common things, such as cold-air intakes, and cat-back systems, but not for more elaborate modifications, such as turbo's and nicer bodykits. Most of the things he qouted us on, we could find at better prices through other channels, or even simply surfing the web for parts. And the catch of sponsorship, which isn't a catch per se, just holding up your end of the agreement, is that you have to show at four car-shows, having you car bare their logo, and take pictures of it. So proceed at your own risk with this one, as it doesn't provide any real benefit, nor any real sponsorship money in the sense of the word.

Well it took them about 2 months to mail me the form an agreement pakage. By the way they got my address wrong and they spell my name wrong too.This is giving me a hard tim to belive if thre is a sponsorhip...Well i almost ask my bank to do an investigation on them, when i didn't rcieve my package,, bu then it finally came. This better not be a scam , or else ther ask id going to be scure

i have heard of the sport compact pro sponsorship ... actualy my brother got it ... but he chose not to ... i dont know why .. he didnt have to pay them 89 bucks.. they were going to pay for 50 - 55% of anything he buys for h is car up to $12,000 but ...... he said no because i didnt feel like putting his car on a trailer and driving to any car shows

It is a scam. Don't waste your money. Sponsorship is not done this way.

I got my contract, signed it, and just got my DVD and list of retailers to purchase from. A whopping 7. Woo hoo.

What's more, going into this sponsorship I made it very clear that I drove a MUSTANG but they indicated that it didn't matter. Every wholeseller they sent me sells parts only for Mazda, Honda, Ford Focus or cars along that vein. Nothing that would work on a Stang. What's more, I tried to contact them via email twice...both times mail returned to sender, email does not exist. Called the two numbers...one mailbox was full, the other didn't have one and hung up.

What kind of crap is this?

Anybody out there able to have any dialogue with anyone at Sport Compact Pro?

Beware of the scam. If you paid with credit card, call them up and request a refund or you will tell your credit card company to refund the money.

It's a General question to anyone that would even think that they could pay $29 or whatever to get some magical "Inside tip" to get sponsored.

This is like someone charging $29 to get your pictures mailed to playboy to be concidered of getting your pictures in playboy.

If you were worthy of being in playboy, you can mail them like everyone else!

I got a sponsorship through them or what ever you want to call it. Originally it was for 12,000 and i wanted to become a dealer, so they canccelled the 12 and gave me unlimited at wholesale. After you pay your fees for the sponsorship and dealer. you are suppost to get a tax id# from the govt and get a business name, about 100 for both. They sent my contract to the wrong address also and then finnally it came. 2 dvds, windshield vy, and 8 2x8 vy, scouting pckg. My problem with them is that it is very hard to get in touch with them, bill from parts leaves at 7 and raymond the guy who sponsored me comes in at 2-3 the place doesnt open untill 11 and i have no prices. They told me to go to optionauto.com and i can use those prices there. not every car comes up there, so i am stuck having to call them anyway. i will be getting my tax id and bus name soon and let you know what happens by the way the number i have is 1-888-333-7621scp ask for raymond for info and bill or james for parts.

what a bunch of bull shit. You don't need a business license to get sponsored and optionauto isn't going to send you $12,000 in product.

I have been sponsored by SCP for three years now. I have a 1991 Beretta GTZ with a 3800SC in it and a 2000 Lincoln LS with a bodykit. SCP gets you great dicounts on parts, NO FREEBIES thou. I have purchased several items from them and have NEVER had any problems. The wrong addresses and names can happen. They deal with a huge volume of calls per day. I highly recommend giving them a try. The contract is for one year. Not to mention the money you can earn with exposure to magazines and shows. If you enter say in a NOPI show and win, SCP will refund your money for the entry frr for placing or winning. If you get your car in a magazine, they will pay you for the picture by size. Larger the picture, bigger the check. Its rally a win win on discounts and easy money doing what you love. Showing your ride.
