Why the Lexus GS

what up y'all....im kinda stuck in a dilemma between the GS and the M35 sport....what is it about the GS that led u guys to buy this car over any other car.....and also should i wait till the GS350 comes out rather than buy an infiniti M35 sport? any feedback would help.

Believe me. You want the Lexus. The two vehicles do not compare. Comparing a Lexus to an Infiniti is like comparing college to pros. Thats just my opinion. You might be able to compare the IS to that but not a GS. Again thats just my opinion. You will see a lot more m35 on the road than GS. Thats another thing.

I have just purchased a GS 350 myself and although I haven't put a lot of miles on it yet, I did do a considerable amount of shopping, test driving and reading publications, reviews and forums. There are a few advantages to purchasing the Infinity M35 that I could see - mainly the fact that it is extremely quick "out of the hole" and has a 9 GB hard drive for storing media. However, after multiple test drives and lots of reading, the Lexus wins hands down.
Most of the reviews seem to be for the GS 300, which is a "slug" relative to the new GS 350, so don't jump to conclusions when it isn't given the highest marks against BMW and Infinity. THe new GS 350 power plant seemed to me to have great torque and lots of horsepower (303). The fit and finish, attention to detail and material quality of the Infinity seems like a Chevrolet in comparison to the Lexus. The Lexus gets significantly better fuel economy. Everything just WORKS on that car, and if you want resale value, I would trust Lexus over Infinity any day. Finally, in my research I seemed to find an alarming number of people on forums complaining about problems on the Infinity - from rattles and squeaks to major electronics failures.
