Enough trunk space for 2 s15L7's? Or more spl from 1?

I have a 1995 lexus es300 and i was wanting to put 2 s15L7's in... BUT i was told that i should consider putting in just one and ill get more spl (hard hitting bass) than if i put in two... does anyone know if i have enough trunk space to house 2 of these bad boys in my lex???? what should i do????? right now i have a brand new phoenix gold xenon 1200.1 amp fyi...

Two will fit but it would be better to have just one. They need about 5 to 6 cubic feet of air space each. The sub itself takes up about 1 cubic foot so you need a 6 to 7 cubic foot box. If you ported the single one in the right size box will suprise you ( and everyone in a mile range of you). My friend had 2 in his ranger, yes a ranger, it was loud but when he tested it was disappointed it was louder when he had just one and a bigger box. Hope this helps good luck.

you should consider a pair of l7 12s

if you put them in 1foot cubed boxes with enough power they will out slap 1 15 all day for around the same cash.

i would def recomend a pair of the 12s they are efin rockin in my 93 es300 and are louder than my 15s i had before. downside is you need real serious rms power for these subs in a smaller sealed enclosure like 800 rms each.

so if want to use one amp bridged to 1 ohm make sure its one ohm stable or you need the dual 2 ohm voice coils to make 4 ohm bridged.

seriously i think 15s are almost a novelty item because of the space needed. i have had every type and size woofer u can imagine and these are the SHIT
