I'll spare you all my personal story, but I've been doing a lot of reading about this, as going with replica wheels will save me several hundred dollars. The ones seen here look very nice.

http://www.capitalwheels.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=782&cat=&page=1

The site also states their weight at 21 lbs (the same as the OEM wheels.) And they also state that

"Our New Original Reproduction (replica) alloy wheels are manufactured to O.E.M. Standards VDA 6.1/QS-9000. The wheels carry the same warranty as O.E.M. originals against workmanship. Wheels have been engineered and tested for structural integrity and pressure tested."

What do you think? Thanks in advance.

If your going to go fake, there are other sites that have them even cheaper.

Any specifics? I couldnt find anything that was less than this. Plus this site looks decent. I mean i do care about quality. I just honestly cant afford OEM. Broke the bank on the car icon_wink.gif

I have the 17" OEM chorme 5 spokes. (17x7) The previous owner decided he didnt need different rims for the snowy season up here in Ohio. So now they are peeling.

I am looking for the exact same rims basically. Just in better condition. Once I get them I'll drive the peeling ones in the winter, and new ones in the summer.
