hello. so I own a 2003 IS300 sedan, and I have aftermarket wheels (19" wrapped in 225/35/19 tires). I recently replaced an old set of 19's for a newer set that apparantly have a different offset, so the wheel sticks out a little more. Before, the wheels and tires would fit in the wheel well with no problems and no rubbing. Now, they stick out just a little bit so at times, they rub (going over bumbs, taking sharp turns at higher speeds). Someone told me that one solution to this problem was to get new struts. If this is the case, does anyone have any suggestions as to the best aftermarket struts i could get? or, are there any other suggestion?!?! THANKS SO MUCH!!!

If it rubs a lot, I would just buy new rims with a smaller width... but no matter what different shocks or springs you change out because they are gonna take up just as much room as the old ones....so it would still rub so you just need a smaller rim in width... good luck.. With 19's they will rub regaurdless.

width of the rim is probably only part of the problem. More importantly you need to look into the offset of the rims. Google search the offset of rims.
