2002 ES300 Premium Sound

I'm looking to replace the head unit in this sound system and have been unable to find a face plate kit to replace the factory's. Does anyone know of any aftermarket kits to convert it?

They make them, but mind you, the only place i've found them is at audio shops that work on cars. Their the only ones with the resources to get them.

bk4ju25, the shops that I've gone to can't find one. Maybe there are more resourses known by the shops in your area. Can you give me a name of a shop that has or can get them down there. I'm willing to contact them to see what they have to offer.

i'll try to get a number this week, i might as well replace mine while im at it. i'll see what i can get ahold of. worse comes to worse i can ship you one, i don't believe thier that expensive...considering it's plastic.

I have not heard of even custom shops carrying a regular harness for this model. Believe me, I looked everywhere. However, if you get the harness for the nav system, it will give you a double d opening like in chevy trucks.
Now the only thing I need is a wiring harness to fit my 2002 es300. Or at least a diagram of which color wires go to which speaker so I don't have to tear my whole speaker system apart... any ideas?

Sorry, I'd have to open up the panels to find the color codes for the speakers myself. I didn't find it necessary to mark them down after I had an amp installed. Maybe you can merely pull the panels slightly and use a flashlight to see the color codes.

What I'm actually looking for is a dash kit for an '02 ES300 which originally had the "premium" sound system. I'm still using the factory head unit and I want to change it. I'm not willing to have a dash that doesn't look like it should be there. I'll look into your suggestion of the part for a car with the NAV in it. That may work, but I'd need to fab a shelf/box for the other hole. (maybe it would be a good time for a nice balanced input EQ?.. Hmm)

Does anyone know if this car, when it has the NAV unit, still has the same climate control panel below the stereo as cars with the "premium" system?
